So, what's a quip?
From the Latin quippe, meaning an observation or indeed, a truth. A quip is any short piece of wisdom, wit, or fact worth a pause. We use it as an umbrella for over fifty distinct forms humans have invented to compress meaning: aphorisms and adages, parables and koans, jokes and one-liners, factoids and verses, mottos and mantras, and the open questions that invite you to pause.
